Present Simple

يستخدم المضارع البسيط للتعبير عن العادات المتكررة الحدوث وكذلك للتعبير عن الحقائق العلمية 

يتكون المضارع البسيط من التصريف الأول 

فعل (مصدر)+I/ You/ We/ They 

(فعل +He/ She/ It + (s 

ex: I/ You/ We/ They play football.

- He/ She lives in a big house.

- My cat runs very fast.

- عند السؤال نستخدم does /do كفعل مساعد:

?ex: What do (you/ we/ they) want

? What does (he/ she/ it) eat

- يأتي المضارع البسيط مع:

كل every - عادة usually -أحيانا sometimes -دائما always

ex: She always goes to bed early.

Past Simple

- يعبر عن شيء حدث بالماضي وانتهى، ويتكون الماضي البسيط من التصريف الثاني:

إذا كان منتظما نحول الفعل لصيغة الماضر بإضافة ( d-ed) أما إذا كان منتظم نحول للتصريف الثاني

ex: I helped my mother yesterday.

- They went to the mall last week.

- عند السؤال نستخدم did كفعل مساعد:

?ex: I walked yesterday. → When did you walk

- يأتي الماضي البسيط مع:

تاريخ قديم - ... الماضي ...last - أمس yesterday

ex: My cat played in the park yesterday.
